A Talk presented by Bronxville Resident Jacqueline LoFaro
Americans can and should be proud of its unrecognized “golden age of literature.” In the mid Twentieth Century American authors produced a harvest of fiction that breathed American culture: the good, the bad, the sweet, the strong and the fantastic. In our discussions we will cover some of the “golden age” literature and its authors--Hemingway, Fitzgerald, Faulkner, Steinbeck—and may take an occasional side trip to Capote, Bradbury and even Sherwood Anderson. Join us for this lively discussion.
